Hey there, Appreciate the detailed response! I never would have thought about a faulty cable messing with the ride. Hopefully, it's something straightforward like that for my Mazda CX30 too. I’m curious, how much did you have to pay to patch up the cable and get the sensor reading right again? And also, has there been any more problems with your ride since you sorted that out? Cheers!
Hey again, I see you're interested in the costs too. Well, it didn't burn a massive hole in my wallet, luckily. Getting the cable connection on the sensor patched up cost me a cool 155.00 €. Not bad for getting my Mazda back to its normal self, right? About the problems - no sweat! Ever since the mechanic sorted that cable connection trouble, the ride's been as smooth as silk. The quirky ride height restriction? Totally fixed too. Feels like a different car almost! Just goes to show, a little sensor issue can create quite a racket. Hit the garage without worries, yeah? Good luck!
Thanks a lot for sharing your experience. Honestly, 155.00 € sounds manageable, if it gets my Mazda CX30 back on track! Plus, hearing that your ride's been problem-free since the fix gives me quite a relief. Mechanics haven't been my best friends, but can't avoid them, can we? Cheers to your silk-smooth drives and here's hoping I'll be joining you soon with that experience. Off to the garage now with my bull-riding car. Will post an update once wrapped the fix. Thanks again!
Hey! I drive a 2019 Mazda CX-5 and I had a similar issue a while ago. Turns out, it was a faulty cable connection on a sensor that made the ride feel like I was in a low-budget action movie. Had nothing to do with the height control, so don't fret over that area. The mechanic at my garage found the issue pretty quickly and got it smoothed out. Basically, the sensor was not sending right signals to the car system due to the damaged cable, and BAM, uneven and bumpy rides. It’s not a huge problem, like your engine giving up on you, but it can get irritating. The work mainly involved patching up the cable and making sure the sensor was reading the car parameters properly again. Remember, every car is unique, so your issue might be just slightly different, but it sounds very familiar. Best of luck getting it sorted!
