Hey there! Thanks for the quick response and sharing your experience with your CX-30. Very interesting! Sounds like we've been along the same road dealing with these Mazda battery issues. I guess our cars communicate in strange ways, haha. Now that you've mentioned it, I'm curious about the repair cost. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you end up paying for the whole emergency call system battery replacement? Oh, and it's fantastic to hear that the problem hasn't cropped up again after that! Just wanted to double check - anything else popped up related to this since then? Looking forward to your reply! Cheers!

Hey! You're welcome! I've been exactly there with my CX-30, so I know the score. And funny you say that, I swear these Mazdas have their own secret language! For the emergency call system battery issue, I had to shell out a neat 110.00 €. Felt a bit pricey at the moment, yet in hind sight, it's been worth it considering the no-more-trouble I've had since. And about your question, nothing else related to it has cropped up since the repair. Following the replacement, the mechanic gave it a thorough check, and it's been smooth sailing ever since. That dreadful 'Emergency call system battery empty' sign hasn't shown up again, thank God! So all things considered, getting it sorted out seemed the right move. Cheers!

Hey! Thanks for circling back on this! Your experience really gives me a clearer view of the situation. It's funny we talk about our Mazdas speaking their own tongue, yet here we are finally understanding them, well sort of! 110.00 € seems reasonable for the peace of mind it seems to bring. Well, as the saying goes - 'better safe than sorry', right? Anyway, it's really comforting to hear that no other issues popped up after the repair. It does feel like a weight off my shoulders. And with that, I think I'll be visiting my mechanic soon. Really appreciate your guidance and thoughts on this. Means a lot! Cheers!

Hello, I have a Mazda CX30, it's been several times that I can not start after leaving the doors open a few minutes. Now I have an error message "on-board network anomaly...". According to Mazda, it could be a battery problem, but is it possible because I don't have any battery indicator lights on? Thank you for your help.

Start by checking the battery voltage with a multimeter. A healthy battery should read around 12.6 volts when the car is off. If it's significantly lower, it might be weak or failing. Also, inspect the battery terminals for corrosion or loose connections, as these can cause starting issues. If the battery seems fine, it might be worth checking the alternator to ensure it's charging the battery properly. Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions!

Hey there, Sounds pretty familiar to me. I've been through a similar situation with my 2021 Mazda CX-30 recently. The symptoms were almost identical, engine start troubles and flickering lights for starters. Turned out, the root cause wasn't a weak battery, but it was indeed the emergency call system battery acting up. Seems these things can give a fair bit of trouble when they begin to run empty huh! To cut a long story short, my garage crew had to completely replace it. Good news, they didn’t take ages to get it done and the problem hasn’t resurfaced ever since. So yeah, I reckon you might be onto something with your suspicion about the emergency call system battery. Hope that helps! Cheers!
