Mazda Axela 2022: Inquiring on Massage Seat Malfunction Troubleshooting Tips

Massage seat without function

Hey fellow car enthusiasts, I've been having a bit of struggle with my 2022 Mazda Axela Diesel. The issue's around the massage seat - it's stopped functioning entirely. I reckon it could be the switch that's acting up, but can't say for sure. Has anyone encountered this before or got any troubleshooting tips to share? I'm really keen to hear any experiences with this problem you've had and how you got it sorted at the workshop. Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hey! Well, isn't that just annoying? My 2020 Mazda Atenza had a similar glitch with the massage seat a while back. I'm not really a car wizard, but I do have some experience tinkering here and there. Took my wheels to my local workshop, they figured it was a cable connection/plug that was shot, not the switch. Theyaged to sort it out for me - set me back 95 bucks (Euro) but all's well that ends well, right? Anyhow, could you give more details about your car? Like any recent modifications, or extreme weathers? Might make it easier to pin down what's up. Cheers!

Hey! Thanks for sharing your experience. Certainly cheers me up knowing I'm not rowing this boat alone. Atenza, Axela, no difference when it comes to these problems, eh? About my car details - no recent modifications at my end. It's all stock as it was from the dealership. We've had some sporadic snowfall recently, but nothing extreme. Gotta mention though my Mazda's clocked over 131,643 KM now - that might be worth considering. Had my latest service just two weeks ago, all smooth sailing then. Guess this massage seat decided to ditch me unannounced... Any more clues or leads you can think of? Cheers!

Hey there, Well, your vehicle's high mileage might be playing a part here, but it's still a bit weird for the massage seat to just crap out like that. Usually, there'd be some warning signs, like the function becoming less effective over time. You mentioned some sporadic snowfall – well, that could potentially have caused some moisture to build up and interfere with the electrical connections. It's a long shot but worth looking into, maybe? Since you recently had a service, did they run diagnostics on the electric system? If not, that could be an angle to explore. Either way, it looks like a trip back to the garage might be in the forecast to get this diagnosed properly! Just like your Axela, my Atenza had its quirks too, but hey, that's the charm of these beasts, right? Wishing you all the best in fixing this issue! Cheers!

Hey! You've given me loads to think about. The icing bit is interesting - didn't cross my mind at all. And you're right about the mileage too. The diagnostic run... I'm not entirely sure, reckon they must have checked but worth verifying. I appreciate your inside-out insights - they've helped a ton! Seems I've got a bit of a project on my hands. The more time I spend fixing her up, the more I get attached, eh? Back to the garage it is then! Cheers to these magnificent beasts and their quirks. Thanks again for all your help. Much appreciated! Stay safe and keep revving! Cheers!
