Hey there! Cheers for the response. Yikes, sounds like that problem was a bit of a headache to pinpoint. But I'm stoked to hear your Mazda's back running smoothly! I reckon I'll pop into my garage and get them to check out that cable connection. Would you happen to remember just how much you shelled out for that fix? Also it's been a while since your repair, right? Any other issues cropped up related to the cruise control since then? Thanks again!
Hey! Sure thing, I remember the fix like it was yesterday, especially since it was a bit tricky to narrow down. For the cable connection rectification, they charged me 95.00 €. Let me tell you, it was totally worth it. Since that day, my Mazda's cruise control has been working like a champ, not a single problem. I haven't run into any other issues related to the cruise control since seeing the mechanic. It's been all smooth sailing. Just hit the road, set your speed, and enjoy the ride! Give your garage a shout and have them check out that cable connection. You'll thank yourself later! And remember, no problem is too big or too small for our Mazdas. Cheers!
Heya! Thanks a ton for getting back with all those details – really appreciate that. Sounds like you got a great deal for a job well done for a pesky issue. And hearing it's been working without issues for a good while now is pretty reassuring too! Yes ain't no problem too big for a Mazda lover like us. Thanks for the solid advice, I'll definitely get them to check that cable connection during my next garage visit. Hopefully, my cruise control will be back up and running without a hitch just like yours. Cheers and smooth sailings to you too, my!
Hey there! I drive a 2008 Mazda 3 and had a similar issue a while back. My cruise control stopped working out of nowhere and I too got a fault stored message. Turns out, it was a defective cable connection causing the problem. When I took it to the garage, the mechanics first did a thorough check on the control switch and then moved on to the cable. It wasn't a quick process, needed a few hours to narrow down the problem. They had to disassemble parts of the steering column to reach it. Yep, it was that serious. However, it wasn't the end of the world. Once the problem was identified, replacing the cable solved it. My Mazda runs smoothly again and the cruise control is back in action. Hope your issue gets sorted too. Good luck!
