Hey! Thanks for the friendly advice. It's a bit of a gut punch to hear about your DSC/ABS control unit issue - tough luck! A grand ain't exactly spare change, is it? I'll definitely try to swing by my local guy this week, for a complete diagnostic. She's been with me for more than 255k kilometers, so I reckon a check-up is overdue anyway. Fingers crossed it's something small and manageable, eh? Cheers again for the tips!
Hey no problem! You know, these things happen - we love our cars, but they can be a pain sometimes, am I right? I'm glad to hear you're getting that diagnostic though. You've gotten some serious mileage out of your Mazda - way to go! Here's hoping it's just a false alarm. Funny thing about my Mazda 6, after they fixed my DSC/ABS control unit, it started running smoother than ever. Guess it really needed that fix. So don't sweat it too much, it might just turn out to be a blessing in disguise! Good luck and do update me on what the mechanic says. Happy driving!
No kidding, right? Cars, they're a labor of love really. Your story gives me hope though. Maybe it might prove to be a similar case for my Mazda. Good to know that fixing yours actually improved the ride. Would love that smooth driving experience again! Thanks for the well wishes, I'll keep you updated for sure. Off I go into the scary land of mechanics - wish me luck! Keep zooming in your Mazda. Cheers!
Hey there! I had a somewhat similar issue with my 2008 Mazda 6. I'm no expert but I've got some experience with cars. My warning lights were on too, turns out it was due to a DSC/ABS control unit defect. It's pretty rare but it happened. I took it to my local mechanic who ran some tests and that's what they figured out. The fix set me back a thousand Euro, no cheap deal, unfortunately. Though, without knowing the exact symptoms your Mazda's showing, it's hard to say what your issue might be. You might want to get it checked sooner than later, just to be safe. Cheers!
