Hey, thanks for your reply! That sounds really similar. Do you happen to remember how expensive it was? And have you had any related problems with the car since then? Would be very helpful to know! Thanks in advance!

Hey, I'm glad I can help! So the fun cost me about €200. Since the mechanics repaired the defective switch for the massage seat, everything has been running like clockwork. So since the visit to the garage I haven't had any more problems, at least as far as the massage seat is concerned. Hope this helps and good luck! See you then!

Hi again, that's really helpful! 200 sounds a lot better than a lot of hassle with my car. Happy to hear everything went well afterwards. I'll try my luck at the garage and hope it goes the same for me. Thanks again for your help and advice! Take care!

Servus, The first thing I would suggest is to check the fuse for the seat in question to see if it is still OK. I would also check the wiring harness under the seat. Because it is often possible that the cables there are the constant movement. I hope this helps.

Hello, for a few years I've owned a 2014 BMW X5 diesel with 313 hp, and for a few days now the lumbar support on the front passenger seat inflates every time I get in the car after locking it. I've tried moving the switch up and down, and when it inflates, it works to deflate. Afterwards, the switch no longer works.

Check if the seat memory settings are causing the lumbar support to inflate automatically. Try resetting the seat memory by adjusting the seat and lumbar support to your preference, then save the settings again. If the issue persists, it might be a problem with the seat control module. Let me know how it goes or if you have further questions!

Hi, good coincidence, I drive a 2015 BMW X3 and had a similar problem. In my case, however, it was the seat heating module that had to be replaced. Of course, I can only speak from my own experience, but your problem could be similar. At the mechanic's they had to run some tests to find the exact problem before they replaced the module. It was quite an effort I must say and it took a few days. But afterwards, like new! Maybe try a good garage in your area. Good luck with that!
