Hey, thanks for the tip! Did it cost you quite a bit to replace the entire system? And did you have any problems with the control system afterwards or did everything run smoothly? I hope it's not a recurring problem...

Hey, no problem, always happy to help! Replacing the antenna tire pressure monitoring system cost me €255, which isn't exactly a bargain, but at least the problem with the tire pressure monitoring system error was solved afterwards. And luckily everything has been running smoothly since then, I haven't had any further problems. Don't worry, it shouldn't normally be a recurring problem. Ultimately, of course, it's always annoying when something like this happens, but just be happy that it's fixed and you can drive again without any worries!

Hey, thanks for the quick reply and for sharing your experience. 255 isn't exactly cheap, but if the problem is fixed afterwards and doesn't recur, it's definitely worth considering. My car is obviously worth a lot to me and I want it to last as long as possible. I'll speak to my garage tomorrow and hope they'll be as professional as you. Thanks again for your advice - you've really helped me!

Hello! It sounds frustrating dealing with that tire pressure issue. Have you tried resetting the tire pressure monitoring system? Sometimes that helps. What did your mechanic say about it during your last visit?

Before you go to the garage, you could try resetting the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) yourself. This can often solve the problem if the system just needs recalibration. Check your car's manual for instructions on how to do this. If the problem persists, then it's time to consult a professional.

Hey, had exactly the same problem with my 2011 Mercedes C-Class a few months ago. It turned out to be the antenna tire pressure monitoring system that was faulty. My garage had to replace the whole system, which was a bit of a hassle, but not an ultra-critical fault. It seems these systems could always have a problem, so it was a good thing to have it replaced. Hope that helps you out!
