Hey, thanks for your feedback! So you were able to solve the problem in your RAV4 with a defective control unit, interesting. Do you happen to remember roughly how much the repair cost? And have you had any other problems since then, or has the whole thing stayed quiet? Merci and best regards!

Hey, yes, that's right, the control unit was the problem for me and not the aerial. I paid around €600 for it. Since the visit to the mechanic, however, the antenna in the bumper has been fixed and there have been no further problems. So, all quiet since then and it drives like a dream! Best regards back!

Hi, great, that sounds pretty good at first! Of course, 600 euros is not a lot, but if it fixes the problem for good, it would be worth it. I'll definitely mention this at my next visit to the garage and hope that they'll be just as quick. Thanks again for your help! Stay healthy and have a good ride out there!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2022 Toyota RAV4, also with a higher odometer. Since then, the key fob no longer works properly and I suspected that it was the Comfort Access control unit. The guys in my garage didn't find anything wrong with the antenna during the check, but they did find something wrong with the control unit. There was some kind of electronics problem, something to do with the contacts, I can't remember exactly. After their work, everything is working great now. So I don't know if it's really your antenna, maybe have the control unit checked. Hope that helps you!
