Hey, all clear! After I went to the mechanic, the signal error in the rear window wiper pump was repaired and so far everything is working perfectly. I paid €115 to have the headlight washer pump repaired. So, you see, sometimes it's not as bad as it seems. So far there have been no further problems and the lights are working perfectly again. So, cheer up and off to the mechanic! Don't forget to ask what exactly is being done before they start work.

Thank you for the detailed answer! That reassures me a little. It's good to hear that everything is running smoothly for you after the repair. I'll be sure to ask what exactly is being done before they start the work. Thanks again for your tips! I hope it won't be too expensive on my Skoda either. I'll keep you posted on how it goes. See you then!

Hey, I had a similar problem with my 2010 Skoda Octavia Diesel. My headlight cleaning system wasn't working either, but in my case it wasn't a signal error from the wiper water pump, but a problem with the system's indicator light. The mechanic had to check the whole system and replace some parts. Sounded pretty serious, but it wasn't as bad as it sounded. Only one cog was broken, nothing to do with the electronics. So, don't panic, just have a professional look over it. Cheers!
