Hey, thanks for the answer and the tips. Now I know what to expect. I'll definitely have a look at a new garage. Just out of curiosity, do you remember how much you paid for the ECU repair? And have you had any other problems with your Mercedes since then?

Sure, no problem! So, I went to the garage to fix the problem and after that the window regulator malfunction stopped. The cost was €355.0 to repair the control unit, if that's what you mean. As I said, everything has been running like clockwork ever since. Hope you get it fixed without any problems, brother. Good luck!

Oh great, thanks for the info. That reassures me a bit and gives me a better idea of the costs. 355 sounds fair for a repair of this nature. It's also good to hear that you haven't had any further problems with your car since. I will definitely go to a new mechanic now and get it checked out. Thanks again, man.

Hey, I had a similar problem with my 2017 Mercedes E-Class. The window regulator control unit was faulty. Wasn't actually a huge deal, but the repairs were necessary for the car to operate properly. The mechanics had to replace the entire control unit. So I think you might want to find a better garage and have the ECU checked if that's the case for you too. Everything was great with my mechanic there - the guy is a real pro and very reliable. Hope it helps a bit. Good luck!
