Hey, thanks for your answer! Well, I'll have to get it checked out then. Do you happen to remember what you had to pay for it and whether anything else has come up since then?

Hey, sure, no problem! After the visit to the mechanic, the signal error in the AUC sensor was rectified. It was actually quite easy and since then everything has been running smoothly again. I paid €90 for it, which was for the repair of the faulty sensor itself. Since then there hasn't really been anything more, so everything is fine. If in doubt, always go to a mechanic, it usually pays off!

Great, thanks for the info! Your experience reassures me a little. I'll now feel more confident when I go to the mechanic. The 90 euros also sounds fair, so I'll tackle that as soon as possible. Thanks again for your help!

Hey, I know the problem well. I had it once with my 2011 Citroen DS3 diesel. Mine also had a faulty sensor, which was really annoying. The garage had to replace it because the blower and heater were on strike. So don't panic, it's not vital, but you still shouldn't wait too long to have it checked. Hope this helps you!
