Malfunction of the blower and the cooling/heating in the Citroen DS3 petrol engine 2014 - suggestions for solutions and experiences wanted

Hey guys, I need your help. I have a 2014 Citroen DS3 gasoline engine, which already has a good 199574 KM on the clock. Recently I noticed that the fan is not running properly and the cooling/heating also leaves a lot to be desired. I suspect a problem with the AUC sensor signal error. I had a bad experience the last time I visited a mechanic, so I wanted to ask you guys first. Have any of you ever had similar problems and can tell me how it went with the mechanic? I would really appreciate your tips and experiences. Thanks in advance!

A similar problem was resolved by replacing the sensor, which restored proper function. It is advised to have the issue checked by a mechanic to prevent further complications.

Hey, I know the problem well. I had it once with my 2011 Citroen DS3 diesel. Mine also had a faulty sensor, which was really annoying. The garage had to replace it because the blower and heater were on strike. So don't panic, it's not vital, but you still shouldn't wait too long to have it checked. Hope this helps you!

Hey, thanks for your answer! Well, I'll have to get it checked out then. Do you happen to remember what you had to pay for it and whether anything else has come up since then?

Hey, sure, no problem! After the visit to the mechanic, the signal error in the AUC sensor was rectified. It was actually quite easy and since then everything has been running smoothly again. I paid €90 for it, which was for the repair of the faulty sensor itself. Since then there hasn't really been anything more, so everything is fine. If in doubt, always go to a mechanic, it usually pays off!

Great, thanks for the info! Your experience reassures me a little. I'll now feel more confident when I go to the mechanic. The 90 euros also sounds fair, so I'll tackle that as soon as possible. Thanks again for your help!
