Malfunction in ABS system and power steering in Renault Avantime 2003

Hey guys, I need your advice on my 2003 Renault Avantime with almost 124,304 km on the clock and a gasoline engine. While driving, I noticed that my ABS system and power steering no longer work properly, and the steering wheel vibrates/wobbles noticeably. During my last visit to the mechanic, everything didn't run smoothly, so I'm worried that it might be due to a fault in the steering angle sensor. Do you have any experience with such symptoms? Hi, I can fully understand your point of view. I had similar symptoms with my 2006 Renault Megane some time ago. I definitely needed the steering angle sensor coding corrected, just as you suspected. While I was driving, my steering wheel also got really vibrating and shaky, and my power steering and ABS were out of order. The whole thing was quite serious as it affected both handling and general driving safety. After it was fixed, my car returned to normal and now runs like clockwork. Hope this helps! Sure, I still have that in my head. It cost me €195 to repair the steering angle sensor. It was a real pain in the neck, but since then everything is back to normal when driving. My Renault Megane is running perfectly again, no more wobbling and the ABS and power steering systems are also in top shape. So don't be discouraged, the repair is definitely worth it.
