Loud Engine and Exhaust Issues on Cold Start with 2019 Fiat Mobi

Hey, ironically I had a very similar issue with my 2016 Fiat Punto not too long ago. Definitely seemed serious at first but turned out manageable. She also started singing a death metal ballad every time I cranked her cold. Figured out it was an exhaust flap problem after a few, less than fun, days at the garage. Thankfully, despite the loud noise, it didn't cause any significant damage to the other parts. The mechanics ended up taking the exhaust flap system apart and fixing the fault, also they reassembled it again. It was a bit of a bother, won't lie, having to leave her in the garage for some time, but the fix held its own and she's been smooth and silent since, especially on cold starts. Hey there again! Glad to see a fellow car-lover showing interest in my exhaust saga! Haha. So, as for the cost, it made my wallet a bit lighter, to be honest. I shelled out 190€ to get that dang exhaust flap back on track. A bit steep, maybe, but in the end, it saved me from any further Metallica-like encores. And to answer your other question, since the revamp, my Fiat's been behaving a lot better. She's harmonizing more with Enya than Metallica now, and the cold morning startups have never been smoother.
