Hey, thanks for your quick reply. The model of my car is 2009 BMW 3 series, the mileage is 158741 km and the last service was done recently. I will try your suggestions and check the fuse. If it doesn't solve the problem, I'll get back to you. Thanks again!

Hey, no problem! Hope that clears up the problem with the fuse. If not, I'll be happy to take another look at it. Did you have any special incidents during your last service? Sometimes hidden problems in the engine compartment can also affect the volume. Just in case, it can also be a good idea to have the exhaust flap thoroughly inspected. On my 1 Series, rust and deposits were once the problem, which can also cause a loud noise. Let me know how it goes, I'm curious! All the best and good luck!

Hey, the fuse is OK, so that can't be the problem. There were no special incidents during the last service, everything ran as usual. Checking the exhaust flap for rust and deposits is a good idea, I haven't done that yet. I'll try that next and then get back to you. Thanks for your help and tips!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2007 BMW 1 Series. I have rather little experience with cars, so I followed my first instinct and went to my regular garage. The guys there found out that the fuse was faulty (if there was one). It only cost me 50 euros, so it was definitely worth the money. See if you can check that too. If that doesn't help, could you give me more information about your car (like exact model name, mileage etc) then I might be able to help more. Good luck!
