Looking for tips on repairing the headlight leveling system on a Seat Ibiza, model year 2016

Hi everyone, I have a problem with my Seat Ibiza, diesel, year of manufacture 2016 with already 65486km on the clock. Last time at the mechanic I didn't have a good experience and now the warning light in the speedometer is also on: Some kind of problem with the headlight leveling or something. Have any of you ever had something like this and can give me a tip on where I should get it repaired? Thanks in advance.

Hey, I drive a Seat Leon, diesel, model year 2019, and recently had a similar incident. The warning light was also on, and it turned out to be a problem with my brake system - not exactly a small thing! I had the repair done at my local garage and they did a great job. Regarding your problem, if the headlight leveling isn't working, it might be best to go to a professional who specializes in that. Hope that helps!

Hey, thanks for the tip! It seems to have gone well for you. Do you remember roughly how much the repair cost you? Did something similar crop up again after the repair or was it a thing of the past? Would be grateful for any further information!

Hey, no problem! So after the visit to the mechanic, the problem with the headlight leveling was actually completely resolved. Since then there have been no new complications, so it seems to be completely out of the world. As far as the costs are concerned, it was of course a lot of money. The control unit for the headlights alone, which was broken, cost me €630. But in the end, it's worth it to be safe on the road, isn't it? Hope that helps you!

Many thanks for the detailed information! 630 is quite a lot, but safety comes first of course. I will definitely visit a specialist and hope that it might be a bit cheaper for me. I'm glad to hear that everything was fine again after the repair. Your answer has definitely helped me!
