Hey, thanks man, that's really helpful. The information that it was also the tilt sensor in your case somehow reassures me, hopefully it's nothing worse in my case. Can you remember how much the repair cost you? Has anything else similar occurred since then or is everything going well? Glad to hear from someone who knows. Free advice is the best advice, haha. Thanks again and best regards!

Of course, I can still remember that, it was no small matter. It cost me €250 to repair my alarm system sensor. Quite a chunk, but since the repair everything has been running smoothly. Since I've been to my mechanic buddy, the fault with the tilt sensor has been fixed. So no more creepiness with the alarm system and everything works fine. I hope this helps you. Good luck and don't let the fault in the sensor system get you down! Best regards!

Hey, you're really encouraging me! Of course, €250 is steep, but the main thing is that everything works perfectly again afterwards. I'll probably pay a visit to my trusted garage and hope that everything goes well. Thank you very much for taking the time to answer me, I really appreciate it. I'll get back to you when the problem is fixed - let's hope for the best! Greetings back to you!

Hey, sure, I can understand that, it's always annoying. I had very similar problems with the alarm system sensors in my 2013 Renault Mégane. The error message pointed to a fault in the tilt sensor. A good friend of mine is a mechanic and was able to take a look at my car in his garage. At the time, we had to replace the tilt sensor in the alarm system. It was quite an effort to reach the sensor and it took a while to get everything back in order. With electronic things like this, everything has to fit, otherwise the alarm system will sound off when it's not supposed to. Be sure to have it checked, especially if you think it could be the tilt sensor. The parts sometimes go crazy. So I'd say nothing too serious, but something you shouldn't ignore. Your buddy from the garage should be able to read out the fault code and then tell you more. Hope that helps you a little. Greetings!
