Hey, thanks for the quick reply! Hmm, I wouldn't have expected that. A leak would be really stupid, of course. The last time I had my Trafic in the workshop was at 75138 km, it was a routine check and nothing unusual was found. I really hope it's not too serious and can be fixed quickly. But I'll definitely take your tip on board. Thank you!

Hey, no problem! First of all, I can understand you, it's easy to get a bad feeling with warning lights like that. With your mileage, I wouldn't necessarily have expected such a problem. It's not an old car either. I had the problem at a similar mileage, I had my Renault Master Diesel 2017 repaired at a mileage of around 80000 km. I was really lucky that it was only a leak and not something worse. But to be on the safe side, check the brake fluid level again and if the light still comes on, I would definitely advise you to go to a specialist. A warning light like this should not be taken lightly. I hope this helps you and the damage is limited. Keep your fingers crossed!

Thanks for the advice, I'll check the brake fluid level again and then probably take it to the garage too, just to be sure. You can never be too careful, especially when it comes to safety on the road. I hope like you that it's just a small leak and nothing serious. Really thanks for the help! Stay safe and take good care of yourself!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my Renault Master Diesel 2017, but I should say straight away that I'm not a car mechanic. My knowledge level is rather low, but I'm trying to find my way around as best I can. I also suspected it was a problem with the brake fluid, but it turned out to be a leak in the brake system, which was the actual problem. I took my car to my local garage and the repair cost me €405. Can you perhaps tell me more about your vehicle details, such as mileage and likely maintenance history? Then I might be able to give you more specific help. As I said, I'm no expert, but you always learn, don't you?
