Lexus LX Engine Issues: Power Loss, Rough Running, Jerking on Acceleration, and Black Smoke

Hey! I can totally relate as I had a similar issue with my '17 Lexus LX, so we're pretty much in the same boat. I'm not an expert on cars but I've got some hands-on experience. When my ride broke down, I took it into my local shop. Turns out, the intake system was leaking. They did a bit of tinkering, replaced a few parts and it was sorted out. Hey! Thanks for the quick response! My LX's got 83222 KM under the hood, never missed a service, latest was just a few months back. Everything was alright until these engine symptoms kicked in. We're running on diesel here, no mods or anything. Haven't done a DTC check yet, but it's definitely something I'll be getting onto. Seriously getting that DTC scan is key. Should give you a clearer idea of what's causing the problem. One quick tip on the black smoke on acceleration. It could be a sign of too much diesel being injected into the engine, maybe because of a turbocharger issue. Also, I had another thought about the rough running engine and drop in power.
