Hey, appreciate the tips! Battery problem, huh? That's a new perspective. Out of curiosity, do you recall how much you forked out for the battery gig? Also, hope nothing else troublesome has popped up since then, right? Cheers for the mechanic tips too. Could do with less trial and more success, know what I mean? Thanks again!
Hey, you're welcome! If I remember correctly, I shelled out around 290€ to get the vehicle battery replaced. Not the cheapest, but given the quick fix, it was worth it for me. Since replacing the battery, the window regulator started behaving again, so no more troubles on that front. Good ol' trial and success, right? Hope you have the same with your Lexus LX. Keep me posted!
You bet! It's quite a relief to hear about your smooth sailing. 290€ isn't bad considering the peace of mind it brings. I'll go ahead and check out the battery situation. Hopefully, it'll sort out the regulator issue. Can do with a lil' bit of that trial and success yourself. Thanks for the sound advice! Will keep you updated, cheers!
Hey there! Got a '06 petrol Lexus RX myself. Sounds like your window regulator issue might be battery-related. Had similar symptoms once, power windows and all. Turned out my vehicle battery was the villain. It wasn't quite a serious issue, certainly a nuisance, but fixable. Got it replaced and the power window issue was gone just like that. Like magic, yeah? Finding a good mechanic might be trial and error. Look out for ones with solid reviews or even better, a trusted referral. Best of luck with your LX!
