Hey, really appreciate your input! Sounds like I could be dealing with a similar situation here with my CT200h. Do you recall roughly how much it cost you to replace the Bluetooth module? Just want an idea to keep a check on those sneaky mechanics, you know. And BTW, did you notice any other related issue popped up after they fixed it or it was all smooth sailing from then on? Thanks again for your help!
Hey there! Good to see a fellow CT200h owner in a bit of a pickle. I can totally understand why you’d want an idea of the costs. The replacement of the faulty Bluetooth module set me back by about 45€. I reckon it's worth every penny, especially considering those sly mechanics we all know and ‘love’. On the brighter side, I have to tell you, whatever they did to my Bluetooth module worked like a charm! No more connectivity nightmares since then - the GPS syncs just fine, and the phone hasn’t thrown a wobbly since! Always looking at the glass half full, or in this case, the car fully functional, eh? Hope this puts your mind at ease. Cheers!
you're a lifesaver! That really does put my mind at ease knowing it won't break the bank to fix. Here's hoping my situation mirrors yours and it's all smooth sailing with the connectivity after it's sorted. I can't wait to get my GPS and phone back in sync with my ride. Nothing quite like hitting the road in a fully functional Lyft, eh? Thanks a truckload again! Cheers to you and your trouble-free Lexus. Keep cruisin'!
Hey there! I own a Lexus ES300h 2018. I experienced something similar last year. The main symptom was incorrect pairing with my end device. Turns out, it was an issue with the Bluetooth module in the car, not the phone or the app. The same mechanic who initially misdiagnosed it ended up pinpointing the issue. Despite their problem, they sorted it out in the end. It was a bit of a serious problem, as it messed with not just my convenience but also my navigation when the GPS wouldn't connect. They had to eventually replace the module altogether since it wasn't a simple software glitch but a hardware issue. Luckily, it was sorted and I haven't had any issues since then. Your best bet would be to get your car checked by a reliable mechanic and if it ends up being the same issue, they'd have to replace the module. It's a bummer, but at least it's fixable. Hope that helps!
