Karoq Power Window Failure

Major bummer! My 2023 Skoda Karoq with a gasoline engine is having power window problems. None of them are working. The error memory mentions the window regulator. Could the power window switch be the cause? It only has 22965 km on it!

Oh man, that's rough! I had something like that happen on my Karoq. The power windows just quit. Have you checked the fuses? Could be a blown fuse for the window regulator motor. Another possibility is the window track is binding.

Fuses look good. When yours failed, was it all the windows or just one? And what was the fix? Trying to decide whether to tackle it myself or bring it in.

Yeah, all the windows stopped working simultaneously. It was a defective power window switch. Honestly, unless you're comfortable with auto electrics, I'd bring it to a shop. Could save you some grief. They'll probably check the regulator motor and window regulator, but the switch is the most likely thing.

Took it to the shop, and you were spot on! It was a bad window control switch. Cost 200€, but at least the car window is working again. Thanks for the help!
