Blower does not work properly

Hey again! Happy to give you an update. Since I got it fixed, the HVAC system has been working like a charm it's been about 8 months now with zero issues. The defroster flaps are moving exactly as they should, and the airflow is perfect throughout the car. The total repair cost me 200€ for fixing the servomotor cable connection that was acting up. I know it might seem a bit steep, but considering how well it's working now, it was totally worth it. The Infiniti specialist I went to really knew their stuff they spotted the issue right away and fixed it properly. Haven't noticed any other quirks with the HVAC system since then. Everything's running super smooth the air distribution is spot on, and I can actually feel the air coming through all vents properly now. It's such a relief not having to deal with that weak airflow anymore! Let me know if you need any other info about the repair or want the contact details of my mechanic. They really did a great job with my QX60!
Thanks so much for all the details! I actually went ahead and got mine fixed yesterday. Found a certified Infiniti mechanic through your advice, and wow, what a difference! Turns out my issue was pretty similar a faulty servo motor. Cost me about 225€ in total, a bit more than yours but still reasonable considering the quality of work. The mechanic was super professional and fixed it in just about 3 hours. The airflow is amazing now feels like a new car! Can't believe I put up with that weak air for so long. They also did a quick check of the whole HVAC system while they were at it, which was really nice of them. Really appreciate everyone's help on this. Sometimes it's just about finding the right mechanic who knows what they're doing. Problem solved and lesson learned won't be going back to my old mechanic anymore! Take care, everyone!
Hey there! I actually dealt with a similar issue on my 2016 Infiniti QX60 Hybrid last summer. Had the same symptoms weak airflow through the vents. Turned out it was indeed the servomotor cable connection that was defective, controlling the blend door/flap system. When I took it to the dealership (mine had about 115K km at the time), they diagnosed it properly after running some tests. The issue was that the servo motor wasn't getting proper signals due to a faulty connection, which meant the flaps weren't moving correctly to direct the airflow. It wasn't a super serious repair in terms of safety, but it definitely needed fixing since it affects the whole HVAC system functionality. The repair involved replacing the servo motor assembly and recalibrating the system. Took about 3-4 hours total at the shop. I'd recommend finding a certified Infiniti dealer or a specialist who really knows these hybrid models. The HVAC systems in these cars are pretty specific, and you want someone who knows what they're doing with the electronic components.
