Thanks for sharing your experience! That's super helpful to know. My symptoms sound exactly like what you went through. Just curious do you remember roughly how much you ended up paying for the whole repair? And has everything been running smoothly since then, or have you had any other suspension issues pop up?
Hey again! Glad I could help! Yeah, I remember exactly what I paid it was 890€ for fixing the defective air compressor. Since seeing the mechanic and getting that sorted, everything's been running like a dream! The authorized Infiniti service center did a fantastic job with the repair, and I haven't had a single suspension issue since then. The bouncing and uneven ride height problems completely disappeared after they fixed the defective compressor. It's like driving a completely different car now smooth, stable, and perfectly level. I know it wasn't exactly cheap, but considering how important the suspension system is for safety and comfort, it was totally worth every cent. If you're experiencing the same symptoms, I'd definitely recommend getting it checked out sooner rather than later. These things usually don't fix themselves, and waiting too long might end up causing more problems down the line. Let me know how it goes if you decide to get it fixed!
Thanks so much for all the details! I actually just got back from the Infiniti dealer yesterday. You were spot on it was the air compressor causing all the trouble. Ended up paying around 950€, which was a bit more than what you paid, but I guess prices have gone up since last year. The funny thing is, when I first pulled into the service center, the car was sitting so low on one side that the mechanic just gave me this knowing look! They were super professional though, got everything sorted in about a day and a half. Even threw in a free alignment check. The difference in how it drives now is like night and day. No more feeling like I'm on a bouncy castle every time I hit a small bump! Really glad I took your advice and went to the dealer instead of trying to save a few bucks at a regular shop. Thanks again for helping me out with this. It's such a relief to have it fixed properly!
Hey there, I can totally relate to your suspension problems. I had similar issues with my 2015 Infiniti QX60 Hybrid last year at around 95k km. The bouncing and uneven ride height were exactly what I experienced when my air compressor started failing. In my case, the compressor was indeed defective and wasn't maintaining proper pressure in the air suspension system. This caused the car to sit lower on one side and made the ride really unstable, especially over bumps. It wasn't just an inconvenience it was actually a serious issue that needed immediate attention since it affected the car's stability and handling. I took mine to the authorized Infiniti service center. The repair involved replacing the compressor unit and checking the air lines. They also had to recalibrate the system. The whole job took about two days, but it was worth it the car's been riding perfectly level since then. If you're near any major city, I'd strongly recommend finding a certified Infiniti dealer. They really know their way around these hybrid models and their air suspension systems. Best of luck!
