Issues with Renault Arkana 2022 Model: Warning Light, Blower Functions and Temperature Sensor

Warning light in the speedometer of the vehicle

Blower does not work properly

|

Insufficient Cooling/Heating

Hey folks, So I'm a bit puzzled about my 2022 Renault Arkana, running on petrol with about 120017 km on it. I've been seeing the warning light on the speedometer and the blower isn't doing its job right. Plus, it's not properly heating or cooling. Kinda suspect the outdoor temperature sensor's on the fritz. Has anyone else had this kinda problem with this model before? How'd your mechanic handle it? Last time I took mine in, it wasn't the best experience. Any suggestions or shared experiences would be a big help. Cheers!

Hey, Went down a similar road with my 2019 Renault Kadjar, also petrol. Had just a bit less on the clock, around 115k km, but the same vague symptoms started appearing - heating and cooling acting weird, then the pesky warning light popping up on the dash. Turns out it was a faulty cable connection from the outdoor sensor, like you suspect yours might be. Seems like a small thing to cause so much trouble, right? Mine was also messing with the blower, very similar to what you described. The guys down at my local garage took care of it for me. No major surgery needed, still labor work. It involved removing the defective cable connection and installing a new one to solve the issue. They also made sure to do some extra work, checking all the other plug connections just in case. From what I've learned, it's not crazy serious but it can affect comfort and overall functionality of your ride, so getting it sorted is wise. Hope this helps!

Hey there, Bit of a pickle you ended up in, huh? I had a scare with my Arkana with the same issues not too long ago. Funny how those little sensor things can make such a mess. Sounds like your experience was almost like a spitting image of mine! That cabling fix your mechanic did sounds like the go-to solution. Bit curious though, do you reckon you could remember the damage to your wallet for that kind of job? In my case, I'm dreading taking it to my local shop after being slapped with a heavy bill last time. Also, after they sorted out the cable, did everything go back to normal or did any other quirks pop up that you didn't expect? Cheers for sharing your experience. Really appreciate it!

Hey, Yeah, these little sensor things can cause a right kerfuffle, can't they? And trust me, I feel your pain about those hefty bills! So, when the boys at the garage did the magic trick with the cable or plug connection, it set me back about 155€. But I reckon that's better than riding an unpredictable beast, right? Plus, they did a real good job at it. Since I got that sorted, the Arkana's been behaving herself well. All the little oddities I was experiencing before, they've all cleared. And you wouldn't believe how much better that blower's been working! In short, besides the initial cost, no other gremlins have popped up. So, I’d say that trip to the mechanic might be unpleasant for your wallet, but it's kinda necessary. Hope this puts your mind at ease. Happy driving!

Hey, Phew! Glad to hear that your Arkana has been behaving well after the fix. Honestly, hearing that it's just the cable issue is a huge load off my mind. The quirky little 155€ bill doesn't sound that harsh considering our Arkana can cool down and heat us properly again. Your info really calms my nerves. That's probably the best 155€ one could ever spend to get the beast under control. Guess it's time for my visit to the mechanic then! Thanks for easing my tension! I reckon I'll sleep better tonight knowing there shouldn't be any extra gremlins popping up after. Once again, much obliged for sharing your experience. You've been a big help! Happy driving to you too! Cheers!
