Hey there, awesome insight! Never thought the problem could lie within the speakers. I sure may have a look into that. By the way, do you remember how much you dished out for the fix, if you don't mind me asking? Also, any other bugs cropped up related to this since then? Cheers!

Hey, good to hear from you! Just to catch you up, after the mechanic's visit, that problem with the emergency call system has been completely sorted. As for the cash outlay, fixing the busted speaker set me back by 305.00 €, which wasn't too bad considering it brought an end to the whole fiasco. Since then, my Kia has been running as smooth as a whistle, no more bugs related to this. Hope it rolls your way too! Cheers!

Hey again! Thanks heaps for your quick response. It's great to know your problem got sorted without any further troubles and the cost doesn't sound too high either. I guess, I'll pop by the mechanic's shop this week and get the speaker issue checked before anything else. I gotta say, fingers crossed I have the same luck with my Kia. Thanks for your help. Appreciate it, cheers!

Hey, run into a similar fix with my '12 Kia Sorento, clocked maybe a smidge more than yours. Sussed out it was a muck up with my speakers, not the emergency call system. Headed to the garage and turns out, one of the speakers was deeper than a bag of chips. They replaced it and all's been well. Wasn't a major thing, but the system needs proper speakers to function right. So, maybe check on that before diving into the emergency system. Good luck!
