Hey, thanks for your reply! You've made me feel quite relieved as I now know what the cause could be and that it can be fixed after all. Do you remember what you paid for the repair and programming? And have you had any problems with the car since then? Thanks and best regards!

Hey, I'm glad I could help you. The repair cost me around €525 to fix the faulty control unit. Since my visit to the workshop because of the "transfer case emergency running control active" problem, I haven't had any further problems with the car. It works really well now. Really worth every penny! Take care!

Hey, thanks again for your help! 525 seems to me to be worth every penny, especially if I can drive quietly afterwards. I will now make an appointment with my garage and have it checked out. It's great that your car has been running smoothly since the repair. That gives me hope! All the best and best wishes!

Hey, So, I have a 2016 Opel Mokka and had similar symptoms with my car. In my case, the control unit was defective. The warning signals were very similar, especially the jerky gear changes and the ABS warning light coming on. Of course, problems can vary from car to car, but it seems to me that you have a similar failure. At my garage they replaced the whole control unit and reprogrammed the software. It was admittedly a major repair, but afterwards my Mokka ran like new again. So I would say get it checked at a good garage. Hope this helps you!
