Hey, I had a similar problem with my 2011 Peugeot 807 Diesel. "Cable connection faulty" was displayed on my on-board computer. At first there was no sound and no GPS. At that time, several cables on the on-board computer and then the entire connection to the center console had to be re-routed. It was quite an extensive job because everything had to be taken apart.
