Thanks for the detailed response! My Integra was last serviced about 4 months ago at 13953 KM. You might be onto something with the fuse issue, I haven't checked that yet. No check engine light fortunately, and it's the base trim model. The weird thing is that everything else electrical seems to be working fine, it's just these specific systems acting up. Might try checking the fuses myself before taking it to a mechanic, any tips on which fuse box I should look at first? Really hope it's just a simple fix like yours was!
Hey again! Glad to help a fellow Honda owner. Since you mentioned everything else is working fine, I'd definitely start with the fuse box under the dashboard on the driver's side, that's where I found my issue. For our models, there's usually a fuse that handles both the audio and nav systems together. From my experience with my Integra, grab your owner's manual to locate the right fuses, you're looking for ones labeled "ACC" or "RADIO." When I checked mine, the fuse was visibly blown, it was super obvious once I pulled it out. Just make sure you've got the right amp rating when replacing any fuses. If the fuses look good though, might be worth checking the wiring harness behind the radio unit, that's where my mechanic found those worn wires I mentioned. But honestly, given what you're describing, I'm betting it's just a fuse. Much easier fix than what I initially feared with mine! Let me know what you find when you check those fuses. If it turns out to be something different, I can share some other troubleshooting steps that worked for me. These cars are pretty reliable overall, but they do have their quirks with the electrical systems sometimes!
Thanks so much for the specific advice! Just checked the fuse box under the dash, and you won't believe it, found a blown fuse labeled "RADIO/NAV" right where you said it would be! Replaced it with a new one of the same amp rating, and everything's working perfectly now. Can't believe I was worrying about a potentially expensive repair when it was just a $2 fuse! Really appreciate you taking the time to help me troubleshoot this, you saved me a trip to the mechanic. I'll definitely keep an eye on the electrical system from now on, might start carrying some spare fuses in the glove box just in case. Thanks again for sharing your experience, it's great to connect with other Honda owners who know their stuff!
Hey there! I have some experience working on cars and had a similar issue with my 2022 Integra. The interior light went out, and it messed with my audio system too. Took it to my regular workshop and turns out there was a blown fuse causing the problem. The mechanic checked the electrical system and found some worn-out wiring that needed replacing. Total repair cost me around 85 Euro, and everything worked perfectly after that. Just to help you better, what trim level is your Integra, and have you noticed any other electrical issues? Also, does your check engine light come on? Would be good to know if you've had any recent work done on the electrical system.
