I suspected it was the coolant, but after a trip to the garage it turned out that my air conditioning system was leaking. This was a serious problem, because without a functioning air conditioning system, the inside of the car becomes a sauna in summer, while in winter it is almost impossible to prevent the windows from misting up. A few parts had to be replaced and the system refilled, but in the end everything worked perfectly again. To date, I have had no further problems with the air conditioning.
