Hi, of course I remember. The repair to fix the wiring harness cost around €155 at the time. Everything has been fine since then. The solar sensor, which I initially suspected was faulty, was also fixed after the visit to the mechanic. There have been no more problems since then. So, everything is great and as good as new. I hope this helps you. Good luck with your Renault!

Great, thanks for the info! That sounds encouraging and the price is not as bad as I feared. I think I'll take my Renault to the mechanic too. I'm reassured to hear that everything is great and as good as new since the repair. Keep your fingers crossed for me! It was really helpful to hear your experiences. You're a lifesaver, thank you!

Hello, I had exactly the same problem with my 2004 Renault Scenic. It definitely seems to be a faulty wiring harness, just like mine. After some diagnostics, the mechanic identified the problem and replaced the wiring harness. It wasn't a massive job, but one that shouldn't be ignored. The blower is now running cleanly again and the warning light has also been quiet since then. I would personally rule out the solar sensor. Hope that helps you. All the best with the repair!
