Heating and cooling problems in Renault Avantime 2001

Hi, I drive a 2003 Renault Espace and had a similar problem a few months ago. In my case it was actually the outside temperature sensor. It turned out that the cable or the plug connection from the sensor was defective. In my experience, there are two possibilities. Either the cable itself is damaged, in which case a simple cable replacement can solve the problem. However, if the connector is corroded or damaged, it can be more complicated. The entire plug connection had to be replaced. It was no problem, the workshop did it in a few hours. I didn't have any problems afterwards. Hope that helps you! Best regards

A large part of this went to the workshop for repairing the defective cable or the defective plug connection from the sensor. It was really annoying that it came to this in the first place, but since then everything has actually been fine.
