Thanks for the tip, that sounds like it could be the culprit with my Expert. Do you happen to remember what this replacement in the workshop set you back? As I've had bad experiences before, I want to find out a bit more in advance. And have you had anything similar done since then or is everything really running smoothly again? Thanks in advance and best regards!

Hello, sure, I can still remember that. The repair to the electric auxiliary heater cost me €350. Since I had it done, my heating and cooling has been running like clockwork again. No more unnecessary heat in summer and no more freezing in winter. So in that respect, the visit to the mechanic was a real lifesaver. I would therefore recommend that you don't let the cost put you off too much anyway. Sometimes you just have to invest a little to get things running smoothly again. So far, I haven't had any further problems of this kind. I hope this helps you. Stay healthy and have a good trip, buddy!

Hey, thanks again for the helpful information. So it seems to be rather more expensive, but if it runs properly again afterwards, I'll probably have to go through with it. I'll have a chat with my mechanic and hope that it goes as smoothly for me as it did for you. If I have to freeze or sweat again, I'll know what the problem is. Stay healthy and always have a safe journey! Thank you and best regards.

Hi buddy, I had a similar problem with my Peugeot Partner Diesel from 2017. This electric auxiliary heater was also defective. It was exactly the same in my heating/cooling, either too cold or too hot, somehow nothing was right anymore. Just like yours. I then went to the workshop and there the technician first read out the fault memory. This then showed that it was actually the electric auxiliary heater. It then had to be replaced. Since then, my heating and cooling have been working perfectly again. A tip for you: Have the workshop read out your car's fault memory first. It is really possible that the electric auxiliary heater is the cause. Whether this is a serious problem depends on how you see it. I just didn't want to freeze in winter or sweat in summer. Good luck and let us know how it goes!
