It was exactly the same in my heating/cooling, either too cold or too hot, somehow nothing was right anymore. Just like yours. I then went to the workshop and there the technician first read out the fault memory. This then showed that it was actually the electric auxiliary heater. It then had to be replaced. Since then, my heating and cooling have been working perfectly again. A tip for you: Have the workshop read out your car's fault memory first. It is really possible that the electric auxiliary heater is the cause. Whether this is a serious problem depends on how you see it. I just didn't want to freeze in winter or sweat in summer. No more unnecessary heat in summer and no more freezing in winter. So in that respect, the visit to the mechanic was a real lifesaver.
