Hey, thanks for your feedback! Especially in summer, I imagine driving without air conditioning to be really unbearable. Of course, it's really stupid that the compressor gave up on you. Can you still remember what you paid for the repair back then? And have you had any more problems since then, or did replacing the compressor solve the problem?

Hey, you're welcome! It's really bad without air conditioning, especially in summer. Fortunately, the problem was solved for me after replacing the compressor. I haven't had any further problems with the air conditioning since then. Ah, and I can reassure you about the costs! In my case, individual valves were defective and the garage replaced them free of charge, so I paid €0 for the repair. So stay relaxed, sometimes you get lucky with these things!

Wow, that's great that you didn't have to pay anything for your repair! It's good to know that replacing the compressor solved your problem, and I'm hoping it might be similar with my Mini One. So I will make an appointment at the garage soon and try my luck. Thanks for sharing your experience, it has really helped me. See you then and have a good trip!

Hello everyone, I have a Mini Cooper S, built in 2013.
I only get warm air coming out of the air shower, I don't have the option of turning it down, it stays warm.
With the air conditioning on, it only gets cold in the glove compartment with the air conditioning on.
It sounds like you might be dealing with a faulty heater control valve or a problem with the blend door actuator. These components control the mix of hot and cold air. If they're not working properly, it could result in only warm air being blown out. I would recommend starting with checking the heater control valve and the blend door actuator. If you're not comfortable doing this yourself, it would be best to have a mechanic look at it. Please keep us updated on your progress. Do you have any other questions?
Hey, I can really identify with you. I had similar problems with my Mini Cooper S (2011) last year. My air conditioning wasn't working at all and there was no sign of the heating either. After my last visit to the garage, it turned out that the compressor of my air conditioning system was defective and had to be replaced. This is quite a serious problem as it affects the comfortable temperature regulation in the cabin. With no cooling coming out of my car, I could barely drive in the summer. It made traveling in hot weather really uncomfortable. After the compressor replacement, all functions were back to normal and it seemed like the problem was in the air conditioning. You can't miss the fact that this car technology also gives up the ghost over time. So yes, it could indicate an air conditioning fault. Wish you luck and hope it's only a minor problem with your Mini One and easy to fix.
