Hey, thanks for the tip! Wouldn't have thought it could be the control unit. Can you remember what you paid to have the control unit replaced? And have you had any other problems since then? I'd be really interested to know, as I'm due for another inspection soon and want to be as well prepared as possible.

Hey, of course! Well, the repair of the control unit cost me quite a bit, around €880. Expensive fun, I tell you! But everything has been running smoothly since then. I can't remember the last time I had problems. The fault with the blinker you mentioned, yes, that was once too, but since the visit to the mechanic it's been fixed. Ford and its quirks, eh? But don't worry, after the repair your car should run smoother than ever! Just be prepared that it might cost a little bit more, but it's totally worth it, I tell you. Good luck with your inspection and keep us posted!

Wow, €880 is really hefty! But now I'm less worried. Your experience reassures me a little. Ford and his quirks are spot on, haha. But I think you're right. I should definitely have it checked and repaired by experts. Thanks for the tips and the nice exchange. I'll keep you posted as soon as I'm back from the garage!

Hey dude, I totally get you. We used to have similar problems with my 2016 Ford B Max. The lights were crazy and flickering, just not cool. In my case, however, it was the control unit and not the blinker that had a fault. So, I went to the garage, they checked it out straight away and said it was a pretty serious problem. They then replaced the broken control unit and everything was fine again. So it could also be the control unit in your case. Nevertheless, it's better to have it checked again by a workshop before you do anything yourself. Always better safe than sorry, you know. Good luck!
