Hey, no problem, I'm happy to help! As far as replacing the control unit is concerned, it cost me a whopping €1000. Not exactly cheap, I know, but afterwards everything ran like clockwork again. And since my mechanic took care of the fault in the headlight cleaning system, there have been no more problems. So go ahead and have your car checked, it'll be fine! Hope this helps you a little!

Hey, thanks for sharing your experience, it definitely gives me an idea of what to expect. It's an expensive affair, but I think if it really fixes the problem, it's worth it. I'll probably have to take it to the mechanic and form my own opinion. Thanks again for your help and advice!

Hey, I can totally understand how you feel. I had similar problems with my own 2014 Peugeot 305. The control unit was faulty as far as the headlight cleaning system was concerned. In the end, I had to go to the garage and have the control unit replaced. That's a serious matter, but once it was done, everything worked like new again. So don't worry, it's a bigger problem, but it can be solved. Hope this helps you!
