Hey, sure, no problem! The repair for the control unit cost me €600, which was quite a lot. But since the replacement, my Benz has been running like clockwork again and I've had no further problems. As for the Hall sensor for the ignition key, I had that problem too, but since the last visit to the mechanic it has been fixed. So yes, you can say that the cost was hefty, but in the end it was worth it. My tip would be not to hesitate when the problem occurs and get it fixed as soon as possible. Hopefully this will help you and you'll soon have no more worries with your car!

Hey, thanks for the info! It does sound like expensive fun, but if it solves the problem and saves me future headaches, I guess it's worth the money. I guess I won't hesitate any longer and take the car in for repairs. Thanks again for your advice, hopefully everything goes smoothly with my car! See you then!

Hey, I drive a 2015 Benz GLA myself and also had the same problem with the control unit malfunctioning. It turned out to be a pretty serious problem. When my car showed the same symptoms, the trunk no longer closed properly and warning lights were on, I took it to the garage. The guys there completely replaced the control unit. It seems to be a common problem with these models. I would advise you to go to another garage or discuss it with your existing garage. Hope this helps you. All the best with your car!
