Engine mount function

With increasing modernization of engines, the need to optimize the engine mounts is now also on the rise. The aim is to improve ride comfort so that the driver in particular does not feel any vibrations or noise. With this in mind, "active engine mounts" that can be controlled electronically are now being used.

The applicability of traditional, hydraulic engine mounts is significantly increased by the use of electronically active engine mounts. By installing an actuator, a sensor and connecting it to a control unit, an ordinary hydromount is expanded. This makes it possible to actively control the bearing to adapt it to the situation.
