Functionality stability control
The ASC (Automatic Stability Control) system in a vehicle is designed to improve driving safety and stability. It detects critical driving conditions, such as wheel spin during acceleration or skidding during braking. This is detected by sensors that continuously monitor wheel speed and compare it with set values.
In the event of deviations, targeted braking interventions are made by activating the ABS block, which is equipped with solenoid valves. These valves selectively control the individual wheel brakes to stabilize the vehicle and achieve the best possible braking or acceleration behavior.
