Function of the anti-theft alarm system
The alarm system integrated in the vehicle protects against theft and alerts the owner. It activates automatically when the central locking system is locked; depending on the coding, it can be operated via the remote control or the door lock.
An alarm is triggered when the vehicle is opened via the door lock. After locking and a 3-second waiting period, vehicle monitoring begins. If an input signal is not at rest (e.g. open door), the LED flashes for 10 seconds. A tilt sensor is installed in the vehicle, which sends a signal to the control unit in the event of movement, which then triggers the siren. The STDWA line connects all components.
