Hey dude, good of you to ask. The repair cost me quite a bit, especially the defective control unit. That part cost me a whopping 1000 euros to repair. A real money pit, I tell you! But since I had it repaired, everything is back to normal. Oh, and as for the brake light, the guys fixed the brake light switch fault when I had the car at the mechanic. Since then, the brake light has been working like a charm again. So, yeah, since the mechanic visit everything has been running smoothly and I haven't had any more problems. Hope that helps you, my friend! Stay safe and take care of yourself, yeah?

A grenade, 1000 euros! That's a lot of money, but if it fits again afterwards, then it has to be. I didn't know that a control unit could be so expensive. But thanks for the info, dude! I'll see if I can sort out the brake light switch as soon as possible. It's a real relief to hear that everything is going well for you after the repair. Fingers crossed that it goes the same for me. Thanks again! And yes, better safe than sorry, right? Take care of yourself too, buddy!

Hi mate, I know this all too well. Something similar happened to my 2018 Ford Fiesta (123,527 km) recently. The ABS warning light wouldn't stop flashing and the check engine light was also on strike. It was pretty obvious that the control unit was faulty. It was quite a job to take the car to the workshop, but the guys managed to find the fault. And yes, it was a serious problem. Something you should definitely get checked out before you get back on the road. Sorry I don't have anything more uplifting to report. But YOU are not alone, comrade!
