Hi, thanks for the quick reply! Your experience actually sounds very similar to what I'm going through right now. So far I haven't had any exact fault codes that point to the fuel system, but I will definitely have that checked again. Your tip about getting a second opinion is good too, I'll be careful about that. One more question: do you remember what you paid for the repair? And has anything else happened since the repair? Thanks again for your help!

Hello, no problem, always happy to help! I had to look in my documents to find out the exact cost: It actually didn't cost me a cent to clear up the subsequent faults from other fault memory entries. Thanks to my reliable mechanic, everything that needed to be done was done under warranty. Since the repair was carried out, I have enjoyed flawless driving. The problem with the pressure fluctuations in one cylinder was fixed. Since then, my reliable Ford Focus Diesel has been running like clockwork again. So, nothing to complain about. Hope that your B Max Diesel runs smoothly again soon. Engines up!

Hello, you got off really well, a guarantee like that would be a real blessing. I hope I can have the same good experience with my garage. It would be great if my Ford B Max runs as smoothly as your Focus again. Thanks for the encouragement and useful information. Your advice has been really helpful. Keep your fingers crossed for me! See you soon and have a good trip!

Hello, I actually had a similar problem with my 2011 Ford Focus Diesel. In my case, it was a "subsequent error from other fault memory entries". The car had similar symptoms to yours: lack of power and starting problems. After many failed attempts at various workshops, a mechanic finally discovered that the error code indicated a problem with the fuel system. He then checked the fuel system completely and found a leak, which led to a drop in pressure and thus to the above-mentioned symptoms. After repairing the leak and resetting the fault memory, the car ran perfectly again. So it may well be that your B Max Diesel has a similar problem, although of course it always depends on the specific error code. In any case, get a second opinion before embarking on an expensive repair. All the best for the repair and hopefully you'll find a good mechanic!
