Hey, thanks for your reply. That sounds like a similar situation to my Kadjar. Good tip about the rubber hoses and the crankcase ventilation, I hadn't heard about that. Can you remember how much you paid for the repair back then? And have you had any problems since the repair? Greetings!

Moin, sure, I still remember the costs. I paid €235.0 to replace the leaking rubber hoses and repair the crankcase ventilation. That was quite a lot of money, but it was totally worth it. Since then, and I can say this with a clear conscience, the uneven engine running is no longer an issue. My Renault runs like a kitten, without a hitch - it was worth every penny. Bye bye!

Hi there, €235 sounds like a lot at first, but if it helps and my Renault runs like it used to afterwards, it's probably worth the investment. Well, I think I'll make an appointment at the garage and see what they say. In any case, thank you for your help and advice - it was really helpful! See you then!

Hi, I had a similar situation 2 years ago with my 2018 Renault Scenic Diesel. My engine light also came on and the idling was irregular. During an inspection at the workshop, it was found that my car was leaking air due to defective/porous rubber hoses and a defective crankcase ventilation system. This sounded very serious at first, but in fact it was mainly a matter of maintenance. The hoses were replaced and the crankcase ventilation system was repaired. Since then the car has been running really well, with no noticeable loss of performance or increased fuel consumption. So don't let it put you off, it's not the end of the world but should still be fixed soon to avoid major damage. Best regards!
