Hey there! Thanks for the quick response. Good thing you mentioned your experience with the Punto, definitely gave me something to think about. I can imagine skipping on something like this can become a proper nightmare if not dealt with. So, appreciate the heads up. Mind if I ask how much that cost to get fixed up for you? Also, have you run into anything similar since they replaced the brake pads and topped up your brake fluid? I'm just trying to figure out what kind of ongoing issues - if any - I might be dealing with here. Thanks a bunch for your help!
Hey, great to hear back from you! You're spot on, dodging this bullet could be rather grim. Now, as for the cost, repairing the worn-out brakes on my 2016 Fiat Punto set me back about 480€. Not exactly loose change, but better than rolling the dice with worn-out brakes, right? After they replaced the brake pads and topped up the brake fluid, that bothersome warning light was finally gone. So, fingers crossed, it seems like the issue has been resolved for good. No more low brake fluid level warnings or other related hitches up to this point. Of course, keep in mind that each car can have its own quirks, but in my case, the brake repair seems to have done the trick. Just remember, the sooner you get it to a mechanic, the better. Safe travels!
Hey again, Really appreciate your informative response. That price tag is a little steep, but you're absolutely right - no sense in gambling with brakes. Glad to hear your issue appears to be fixed and hasn't come back. Here's hoping it'll be a one-time ordeal for my Panda too. Guess I've got to bite the bullet and give the mechanics another shot. Thanks again! Safe driving to you too!
Hello. The Panda Twin Air 2013 often lights the engine light in yellow. But it does not flash. Yesterday I had it serviced and changed spark plugs and in the afternoon the light came back on. The car sounds different. The mechanic says it needs looking at because it could be something simple or it could be something hard.

The yellow engine light is usually a sign of an issue with the engine or the emission control system. Since you've recently changed the spark plugs and the car sounds different, it could be a misfire. However, it could also be a wide range of other issues. I recommend getting the car's error codes read with an OBD-II scanner. This will give you a better idea of what the issue might be. Please keep us updated on your progress. Do you have any further questions?

Hey there, Ran into something similar with my 2016 Fiat Punto not long ago. Yup, it was a low brake fluid level warning all right. This is pretty serious. Ignoring it means you might end up with completely worn-out brakes and, trust me, that’s the last thing you want. Last time I was at the garage, they said the main problem was brake pads were too worn down. They had to replace those along with topping up the brake fluid. It's definitely not something you can just put off, as it's a big safety issue. It made quite a difference once it was fixed- the car was smoother on the brakes and that pesky warning light was finally off. Don't sweat it out too much though; it's not an end-of-the-world type crisis if you act swiftly. Get your Panda to a garage you trust ASAP, and while they're at it, maybe have 'em do a full brake system check just to be on the safe side. Happy driving!
