Hey, no problem, I'm happy to help! So, I paid €375 for the repair of the relay fault at the time. That may sound a bit expensive at first, but I haven't had any more problems with the wipers since then - so it was definitely a worthwhile investment. Believe me, since the visit to the workshop, the thing has calmed down and the fault was rectified. So, yes I can tell you that I haven't experienced anything similar since. Good luck with your car, hopefully it's nothing serious!

Hello, I had a similar problem with my 2007 Citroen Berlingo Diesel. My relay was defective, just as you suspect. It had to be replaced, otherwise the wipers could have kept spinning. My experiences with garages have been mostly positive. It sounds complicated, but a relay fault is a fairly common problem and most garages should be able to deal with it.
