Hey, no problem, that's what we're here for! Back to your question: Since I had it done by the mechanic, the ventilation has been running like a charm. No more problems with the control of the defroster flap. In terms of cost, of course, it wasn't cheap. The item for the defective air conditioning control unit was around €900 - so watch out for surprises like that. But in the end, I'm glad that it's working again. On the whole, it was worth it. Cheers!

You, I'm telling you, that's exactly the kind of information I needed right now. Of course, €900 isn't peanuts, but if the ventilation works again and, above all, stays that way, then that's probably the price you have to pay. I'll start looking for a suitable garage - with more experience with Seat, as you said. Thanks for sharing your experience, it really helped me. Cheers to you and your working ventilation system!

Hello, I actually had a similar problem with my 2015 Seat Leon. The ventilation just wouldn't play along. In my case, it was actually the defroster flap that had given up the ghost. It wasn't a minor fault, the whole thing had to be replaced. In the end, the garage I went to did a great job. They really went the extra mile and fixed the problem quickly. If you want to be on the safe side, then look for a garage that knows Seat well and that should work. Good luck with it!
