Hey, thanks for the tip! Sounds like exactly what I need. Do you remember how much the repair cost you? And has the problem recurred since then or has everything remained in the green zone?

Hey, you're welcome! Well, it cost me €255 to repair the cables. And to answer your other question: since the mechanic came, everything has been working like clockwork, including the heated wing mirrors. No further failures or anything like that. So you should be able to find a reliable electrician who should be able to get the problem under control.

You really helped me, thank you! Happy to hear that your repair was successful :) 255 sounds really reasonable, I would have expected more. I'll take your advice to heart and find a qualified electrician. Thanks again for your help and compassion!

Hey, I had a similar experience with my 2015 BMW 5 Series. The windshield wiper just stopped working, just like your outside mirror now. At my garage, the mechanic told me it was an electrical issue. He had to replace some wires to fix the problem. Hope I could help
