Hey, that sounds really similar to what my old A2 is going through right now! It's reassuring to hear that your car worked well again after the fuel pump was replaced. Do you remember how much the repair cost? It would be helpful if I had an idea of the price before I go to the garage. And has anything else come up for you since then or has your Audi been running without any problems? Thank you and best regards!

Hey, thanks for your detailed reply! It's good to know that this repair can definitely make a difference. Although 205€ is quite a lot, it does seem like a worthwhile investment in the grand scheme of things if it means my car will run properly again. So I will definitely make an appointment at the garage and hopefully the problem will be fixed afterwards. I really appreciate your advice and will keep you posted. Best regards!

Hey, sure, I still remember the cost. I had to unblock the fuel filter for the repair and it cost me about €205. So it wasn't cheap, but since then the car has run really smoothly. Incidentally, the problem with the defective fuel pump was also fixed during the visit to the mechanic and since then there have been no more worries! So, I'd say it's definitely worth having it checked, even if it looks like a lot of money at first. Hope this helps you! Best regards!

Hi buddy, I had similar problems with my 2008 Audi A4. It was really annoying! My engine warning light came on and the car just wouldn't run smoothly - very similar to your car. I took it to the garage straight away. At first they thought it might be the battery, but after careful analysis they came up with a fuel pump problem. They had to replace it, which was definitely no small job. But after that the car was running like the first day. I'm no mechanic, but it seems like your problem could be here too. I would recommend getting it checked out as soon as possible before it gets worse. Good luck with it and let us know how it turns out! Regards!
