Engine stuttering in BMW 5 e60 530d - What could be the cause?

Hello everyone, I drive a BMW e60 530d and have recently had a problem with my engine. The engine stutters at 1000 to 1500 rpm, but only when I accelerate at a leisurely pace. I had a chain break in 2024 and have since fitted a used engine with 140000 km on it. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this stuttering? Thanks in advance for your help.

Check the fuel injectors for any clogs or malfunctions, as they can cause stuttering during acceleration. Let us know if this resolves the issue or if you need further assistance.

Start by checking the condition of your engine mounts, as worn or damaged mounts can cause shaking when idling. If the mounts are fine, inspect the air intake system for any leaks or blockages. Let us know how it goes or if you need further help.
