Hi, thanks for your reply, it's really helpful! It seems that we had similar problems. How much did it cost you to have the fault rectified? Have there been any other abnormalities since then? I'm still hoping for a simple fix, but I'm afraid you're right and a trip to the garage is unavoidable. Best regards!

Hey, after the visit to the mechanic, this stupid fuel pump problem was actually solved. It turned out that an update of the software was necessary to correct the wrong values. The whole thing cost me €45, which in my opinion is a fair price. Since then, the car has been running like clockwork, with no further abnormalities or similar problems. I know that nobody likes going to the garage, but in this case it was really worth it. Regards!

Hey, great, thanks for the info! 45€ is a fair price, which at least reassures me a little. It's really great that your car has been running without any problems since then - hopefully I'll be just as lucky. Well, nothing to do, I have a meeting with the garage on Monday... Greetings and thanks again for your help!

Hello, I had similar problems with my Renault Laguna 2006 Diesel. It sounded like the same symptoms: jerky acceleration, starting problems, and the check engine light was also on. After some investigation at the garage they found out that it was wrong software values for the fuel pump. They did an update to the software and everything worked smoothly after that. I would say it's definitely a more serious issue as it affects the engine and overall performance of the car. It's not an easy fix, so take it to the garage and get it checked by professionals. Hope this helps you out!
