Hey, that's interesting that you've had similar experiences with your Seat Ibiza. Do you remember how much it cost you to correct the software values? And has anything else occurred since then, or is everything running as usual? I would be pleased if you remember. Thanks in advance!

Hey, of course I can tell you how much it cost. I paid €45 to correct the software values of the fuel pump, which I think is really fair. Since then, everything has been really tiptop again and nothing else has come up. The defect in the fuel pump has clearly been rectified. So, don't panic - have it checked and with a bit of luck you'll get it fixed for a similar price. Hope this helps you! See you then!

Hey, thanks a lot for the info! That's really very helpful. 45 definitely sounds better than what I had feared. So I'll certainly pay a visit to the mechanic and have it checked out. Let's hope the problem really is just the fuel pump software. Thanks again for your advice! It's really cool that you shared your experience, that saved me a lot of worry. See you then!

Hi, I went through exactly the same thing with my Seat Ibiza from 2013 (with 205000 km on it). Appointments with the mechatronics engineer showed that it was actually the wrong software values for the fuel pump. The symptoms were similar: rough running, loss of power and difficult cold starts. The software values were then corrected and everything was fine again. It wasn't a minor fault, but fortunately it didn't cause any further damage. So don't worry too much, it will be worth having it checked. Have a nice day!
